Charitable group eyed for West Kootenay women

West Kootenay women who appreciate charitable initiatives might want to check out a new group which is being formed in our region.

Organazier Susan Kolebaba (Cole-eh-baba) says she hopes to expand the group to 50 women, each would pledge 50 dollars towards a local charity.

She says the funds would be earmarked for charities through the Nelson to Trail corridor.

The group doesn’t have an official name just yet.

If you want to join you can call Kolebaba at 250-921-8272.

She asks that you call between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
