The slopes at Rossland’s Red Mountain Resort have been closed for the day due to a power outage.
Spokeswoman Nicole Briggs says the power went off just before 9:00 am
Briggs says the mountain was hit with a nice dump of snow overnight at 22 centimeters and more is expected tonight.
She says this will make for a great powder day tomorrow when the slopes reopen.
