Fire destroys tractor trailer in Fruitvale

A tractor trailer caught fire in Fruitvale early this morning.

Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue crews were called to the 3400 block of Highway 3B just after 4:00 am.

There was a report of explosions near a residence.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the tractor.

The vehicle was a total loss.

It is undetermined what caused the blaze.
