Castlegar RCMP are continuing their investigation into a crash November 20 on Highway 22 between Blueberry and Fairview.
The 78-year-old man who was driving the Nissan Quest has died.
Witnesses have confirmed he was heading southbound and got into the northbound lane where he collided head on with a Kia Sportage.
The 54-year-old woman who was driving the Kia is recovering.
Before the head on crash another vehicle heading northbound was clipped by the Quest but avoided being struck.
RCMP are seeking more witnesses.
No names or home towns have been released.
