Smokies fall 2-1 to Penticton

A tough night at the office for the Trail Smoke Eaters in Wednesday’s BCHL action.

The Smokies suffered a 2-1 setback to the Penticton Vees in front of a home crowd.

Trail defender Jeremey Lucchini says they played a great game in spite of battling the injury bug.

Trail forward Ross Armour had the team’s lone goal to vault him back to first place in the BCHL scoring race at 40 points.
