Fortis BC has announced a new pilot program which may appeal to some local businesses.
Director of energy solutions Jason Wolfe says they’re working with Calgary’s CleanO2 who has created technology to convert CO2 into a usable byproduct.
The byproduct is soda ash which is particularly useful with laundromats and dry cleaners.
Wolfe hopes to see the program expand from just commercial use.
