Do you know a Castlegar resident who has gone the extra mile to help somebody or the community?
If your answer is “yes”, you might want to nominate them for the city’s Good Samaritan Award.
It’s given out annually to those who perfrom kind gestures or random acts of kindness to help improve the community’s appearance or assist a community member.
Nominations are due November 30 and the winner will be chosen December 5.
The city will donate $250 to the winner’s local charity of choice.
