Local tech firms got some face time with BC’s Minister of Citizen Services this week.
Jinny Sims toured the West Kootenay to talk about Internet connectivity and broadband.
She says it lets people live here but work around the world.
In Nelson, Sims toured the Civic Theatre, the Kootenay Co-op, and the visitors centre.
She was also in Castlegar, Trail, and Rossland.
