Nelson Chamber sells Hall Street building

The Nelson Chamber of Commerce has sold their building near the foot of Hall Street, subject to some conditions.
Executive Director Tom Thomson says they acquired the City land it was built on in 2007 as part of the long-term goal of selling and then re-investing in the Baker Street Rail Station .
They can stay at the current site until their proposed move to the renovated rail station in December next year.
Thomson says this sale and their investment in the old CPR building shows a commitment to government and other potential granting agencies.
