The City of Trail wants to make sure dog owners are picking up what their animals are leaving behind, especially on the Columbia River Skywalk.
Councillor Robert Cacchioni says the problem has become more noticeable recently.
Signs have been installed on both ends the bridge asking dog owners to leash up their pets and scoop up after them.
Cacchioni says they’re similar to other signs in some of Trail’s public areas.
He adds the droppings have been a problem in other areas too.
He says it’s also a problem with walkways around the bridge, especially after the snow melts.
