Results are in from the alternative approval process which was undertaken to determine if the Area J animal control service should expand.
Director Rick Smith says he’s happy with the results.
Smith says he’s not sure yet if the current animal control officer will be able to take on the extra work.
Only 53 people identified as to being against the expansion.
That’s well short of the 199 required signitures which were needed to defeat it.
