A pair of fourth-year nursing students at Selkirk College have launched the Trail Nursing Outreach initiative.
Sami Syskakis and Nicole Nutini introduced the program to Trail City Council earlier this week.
Syskakis says the program offers valuable services.
Nutini says they’re available for face to face meetings Wednesdays and Thursdays.
They provide things like hygiene and oral products, vitamin packs and health assessments.
You can meet them Wednesdays at Trail’s Career Development Services building from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, at the Clubhouse from 10:15 am to 11:15 am and at Kate’s Kitchen from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm.
Thursdays you can find them in the community from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm.
