The skies have cleared in the Castlegar and area prompting the Ministry of Environment to end the Wildfire Smoke Advisory that was put in place last week.
Smoke concentrations have remained at normal levels since Sunday and conditions are expected to continue to improve with heavy rainfall and strong winds forecast for the next two days.
