The City of Castlegar is supporting a grant application for funds through a Union of BC Municipalities program.
Seniors advocate Sandi McCreight is pleased the city is seeking $25,000 through the age-friendly grant program.
If successful it would allow Castlegar’s Community Response Network to put together an age-friendly assessment and action plan.
McCreight says this a great step towards making Castlegar an age-friendly community.
