Twenty-one residents attended an open house hosted by the City of Castlegar last night.
It was meant to give residents a chance to have their say in next year’s budget and to suggest projects for staff to consider.
Resident Gary Lebrun says a playground at Woodland Park would be a great start.
Another resident, who asked not to be named, says it was great to get a look at what city staff have been up to lately.
The city also unveiled their new online tool, Citizen Budget.
