Property tax increase eyed for Rossland

The City of Rossland is in preliminary talks regarding their budget for 2018.Mayor Kathy Moore says infrastructure needs attention.

Moore says a property taxes could rise by 4.8% but hopes it will stay around 4%.

She adds the tax hike is necessary to pay for various city services and increasing wages.
