The Friends of the Trail Skatepark Committee plan to ramp up their fundraising efforts.
Trail city councillor Carol Dobie says you can donate to the new all-wheel park facility by contacting them.
Dobie says another $1,000 in donations have come in over the past few weeks.
Area skaters will be able to perfect their pop-shuvits, layback grinds, crossbones and ho-ho’s when the facility opens next September.
