Castlegar will have a chance to provide input on decisions about the city’s 2018 budget at an open house this week.

Chief administrator Chris Barlow says he hopes to see plenty of engagement at the event.

Those in attendance will be shown a new online budgeting tool that helps residents use their own property assessments to see how much they pay for city services.

The open house is at the community forum Thursday starting at 5:30 pm.
