Sudden death of female teen

Greater Trail RCMP are trying to figure out how a teenager died in a residence east of Fruitvale in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Sergeant Mike Wicentovich says they got a 9-11 call from a man in the Ross Spur home saying the 17 year old female was in distress.
She died on arrival in hospital.
A police forensics team are involved in the investigation.
He’s not prepared to say what the injuries were nor what caused them.
The 28 year old man who made the 9-11 call was arrested on an unrelated matter.
