There will be an open house in Castlegar at the beginning of next month so residents can have their say on proposed changes to the city’s water and sewer rate structure.
The city is looking at moving to a consumption-based model.
Mayor Lawrence Chernoff says presentations about the proposed changes should be very informative.
The event happens at the recreation complex from 3:00 pm til 8:00 pm November 1st with presentations at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00.
The presentations will show how the proposed rate structure differs for residental, multi family and industrial, commercial and institutional properties.
