Area J’s director doesn’t know much about a developer’s proposal to build a medical cannabis production facility near the Castlegar airport.
Rick Smith feels it would be great for creating jobs.
He says there might be a few issues for some residents.
Smith says if the proposal is approved he hopes the developers will be good neighbors for the community.
