The chair of archives at Trail’s Colombo Lodge is paying homage to the city’s Italian roots.
Fred Romano is preserving old photos from the area dating back to the first half of the 20th century.
He hopes to construct a map of the Gulch through photos to show how the neighborhood used to look before development.
Romano has been archiving and preserving old photos for the lodge for three years.
