It looks like the process behind Trail obtaining the Waneta Dam and Columbia Gardens Industrial Park will carry over to a new City Council.
This from Mayor Dieter Bogs after the Silver City received a letter from the province outlining a to-do list before November’s election.
Bogs says it is disappointing considering all the work that has already been done by existing staff.
A significant obstacle before the boundary expansion could be approved is certain issues between Teck and the Province.
Despite the governments suggestion – Trail will now hold off on mitigation talks with the Beaver Valley and Regional District.
