The president of the Kootenay Columbia Teachers Union says this year’s influx of new staff are adjusting nicely to their new settings.
Andy Davidoff says he’s hearing good things.
He says the district started the hiring process shortly after the BC Government announced funding to add more staff in the spring.
Other districts have had trouble filling positions.
More than 20 full time teachers have been added in SD 20 this year.
