Our region will soon be electric vehicle compatable.
Spokeswoman for the Community Energy Association Trish Dehnel says their Accelerate Kootenay initiative fit our local highways with charging stations for electric vehicles.
A charging station was installed at the Castlegar Library earlier this year and a few more are bound for the Visitor Centre.
Dehnel says having these stations will bring more tourists through the area.
