A new novel by a former Castlegar resident is set in BC’s corridors of power.
Ron Norman was the editor of the Castlegar News in the 1980s and a school trustee before moving to Victoria to 2001 to work in government.
He says Slouching Towards Innocence is fictional but draws on his experiences.
Norman left government as the head of communications.
He’s also a former board chair of the Castlegar library, where he’ll be reading on Nov. 15.
