A Castlegar resident has been given permission by the city to run a day care service for seniors at her home.
The concept is similar to child care in that the primary caregiver would drop the patient off at the home for a few hours.
But Councillor Dan Rye has concerns about a lack of regulations for the service.
A license from Interior Health is not required to run the adult day-sitting service.
