Smoky Skies Advisory expands

The thicker smoke from large wildfires burning in northern BC has now reached more part of our area.

A Ministry of Health Smoky Skies Advisory has now been extended to include Castlegar and area.

The Boundary was already under a similar advisory and this will last through the weekend.

The particulates in the air can cause problems – especially for infants and the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions.
