The Regional District of Central Kootenay will take steps to enforce hunting and firearm discharge laws in Shoreacres.
This after residents complained of hunters illegally using the area to shoot elk.
Director Andy Davidoff says they hope to find out why the laws haven’t been enforced.
Davidoff says this has been a problem for years.
