Work resumes on Castlegar's Aqua Park

Crews are back to work in Castlegar’s Millenium Park to construct the ambitious aqua park.

The city hopes to have the 1 POINT 2 million dollar project complete and open by the end of June or the beginning of July.

Councillor Kevin Chernoff says the big push right now is to have the site ready for mid April when the remaining liners for the ponds will be installed.

Chernoff says this project was earmarked for Millenium Park nine years ago when he first joined Council and everyone’s excited to see it coming together.
