RDCK embraces adjudication process

The RDCK is joining the growing number of local governments turning to the adjudication process to settle outstanding bylaw offence matters.

The cost of taking those who dispute their bylaw infraction fine to court is time consuming and costly for everyone.

Manager of Administrative Services Anitra Winje-Nesteroff says this will help streamline things.


There are only two authorised dispute resolution companies in BC.

The RDCK is going with Apex of Vancouver which is the company the city of Nelson uses.
