Kooteany Boundary Regional Fire Rescue crews extinguished a small wildfire near Red Mountain in Rossland Tuesday.
Captain Glen Gallamore says it looks like it was human-caused.
Gallamore says the fire was close to the forest and the battle could have been harder for crews if the wind had picked up.
