A changing of the guard for Trail’s Skills Centre.
President Lila Cresswell says longtime executive director Janet Morton is retiring after 22 years.
Morton held the role since the original 20 Skills Centres were established in the 1990s.
Morton’s last day is October 10.
The new executive director is Morag Carter who has 20 years’ experience with community economic development.
