Condo development reflects Castlegar's potential: Mayor

The Mayor of Castlegar says a developer’s decision to build a major condo project locally is a reflection of the growth and potential of the city.
Up to 200 new homes are coming to Woodland Drive – most will be condos spread over nine multi-family buildings.
Lawrence Chernoff says the construction will be a boost to the local economy but also the the confidence the developer has shown could pay dividends.
He says that may prompt other businesses to invest in Castlegar.
