Trail’s airport was a little busier than usual last week.
Manager Robert Baker says a pair of Cranbrook-bound flights from Kelowna and Vancouver had to land in Trail Friday because of heavy smoke in the area.
After that the regularly scheduled flight from Vancouver landed at 4:30 pm.
Baker says crews did a great job accommodating the extra flights.
