The City of Castlegar has awarded its third quarter intake for their grants in aid policy.
Councillor Sue Heaton-Sherstobitoff says some applicants are still getting used to the new policy.
 She adds there are still funds available for the fourth quarter intake.
The successful third quarter applicants were the Selkirk Saints and Castlegar Rebels hockey teams.
They each get $800 for sponsorship and advertising.
