Another big boost for Millennium Park plans

Another big boost for the grand plans at Castlegar’s Millennium Park.
The Zellstoff-Celgar Pulp Mill has committed what they’re calling a substantial amount to the building fund for the planned multi-use facility which will be known as the Celgar Pavilion.
A statement from the company didn’t say how much but the overall project cost is $359,000.
The facility will feature covered picnic tables, an indoor kitchen,concession area and storage for the soccer club.
Construction is scheduled to start this fall.
Meanwhile Castlegar’s new Millennium Ponds outdoor swimming attraction opens next month.
