Rossland has submitted a bid to Kraft Heinz’s Project Play Grant Program with hopes of upgrading the arena.
Arena task force chair Janice Nightingale feels they have a great chance at winning the 250-thousand dollar grand prize.
The goal is to make the arena suitable to use year-round.
Other upgrades being looked at include seating improvements as well as renovations to the foyer.
