The pride flag is flying high over Castlegar City Hall.
At a ceremony this morning City Councillor Deb McIntosh kicked things off by speaking to the crowd of over 150.
The ceremony included music and speakers.
Kootenay Pride Week is being celebrated in our region now through September 4.
