It has been a quiet summer for bear conflicts in Trail and Wildsafe BC wants to keep it that way.
Community coordinator Desiree Profili says now is the best time to pick and harvest fruit.
She adds there are volunteers available to help those who are unable to do it theirselves.
Trail and Rossland residents who would like help getting rid of their fruit are asked to contact Wildsafe BC.
