It will be a momentous occasion at Castlegar City Hall Friday.
That’s when the pride flag will be raised at the hall for the first time ever.
Councillor Deb McIntosh says there will be a ceremony to mark the occasion.
The flag raising ceremony coincides with the beginning of Kootenay Pride Week celebrations.
