The Ministry of Health has issued a new type of public advisory called a Smoky Skies Advisory that includes the Boundary.
This as we continue to get the haze from wildfires burning in northern BC.
It says smoke concentrations will vary depending on wind, fire behavior and temperature changes.
Smoke levels may be lower indoors but there will still be an increase in particulates.
People with heart or lung conditions as well as infants and the elderly should reduce their exposure to the smoke.
