The Trail Historical Society will still play a huge role with the new Riverfront Centre Library Museum when it opens.
That’s even though the operations, management and staffing of the facility will be the city’s responsibility.
Director Sarah Benson who will be the city’s new museum and archives manager says this should streamline day-to-day operations.
The Riverfront Centre is due to open in early 2018.
