Sixteen Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue members tended to a house fire in Trail this morning.
They were called to the home on the 1600 block of East Street just after 4:30.
Captain Grant Tyson says it was a hard fire to fight.
 The fire was under control by 6:15.
RCMP are investigating to determine the cause, which appears suspicious.
