New development could see 200 residential units

A proposed development in Castlegar could see nearly 200 residential units constructed by the time it’s done.
The City of Castlegar is going through the application process for a project on Woodland Drive.

Director of Development Services Phil Markin explains the first phase would have nine multi-residential lots.

Each lot would offer 14 units for a total of 126.

The second phase could see 10 small single family lots, 10 large single family lots and five multiple residential lots

Markin adds the developers would also be dedicating parkland and trail space to the City.
