Selkirk faculty ratify new deal

Selkirk College instructors have ratified their new labour agreement with government.

They and fellow BCGEU members at Okanagan College are among the more than 500 faculty who have signed off on to the five-year deal running till 2019.

It offers a 5.5% wage increase within the government’s so-called economic stability mandate.

There may be increases over the term if the BC economy exceeds annual forecasts.
