The Castlegar and District Community Service Society is dedicating its Women’s Centre in the memory of a local woman who lost her life in a terrorist attack on the London Bridge in June.
Activities coordinator Loui Parsons says the Women’s Centre will be known as Chrissy’s Place to honour Christine Archibald.
 Archibald was known for her spirit of humanitarianism and Parsons says the centre hosts a number of programs that fall in line with her passions.
The dedication ceremony is August 25th at the Women’s Centre.
There will be a sign reveal and a ribbon cutting ceremony.
