A very dry July in our region is in the books.
Weather forecaster Chris Cowan with the Southeast Fire Centre says it was the third hottest July on record.
 Our mean temperature was 23.1 degrees — the average for the month is 20.2.
We did set two records on the 6th and 7th when the mercury climbed to 38.1 and 38.2 respectively.
