The City of Trail has awarded the contract for it’s airfield pavements rehabilitation project to Selkirk Paving.
Selkirk’s bid was for $4.1 million and the project is slated to start in September.
Work includes widening the taxiway which will make the airport fully compliant with Transport Canada regulations.
Mayor Mike Martin says he’s very happy to have Selkirk Paving handling the job.
 The project will be done by November.
