Cigarette starts fire at Champion Lakes

Two brush fires in the Champion Lakes area Thursday within a few minutes of each other.

Regional fire and rescue says the first was started by a discarded cigarette.

The second started when a tree fell on a power line.

A dozen firefighters responded and quickly had things under control.
